Karl Blosffeldt
Karl Blosffeldt (1865-1932) was a German photographer who became world-famous through his sculptural close-up photography of plants and flowers. By isolating flower buds, leaves and stems, he returned them to their highly aesthetic sculptural, core forms, disconnected from their original context.
